Our History

 Kids Journey (KJ) is a non-profit organization that began in 2007 and operated through 2015, with the intent of bridging the educational needs of youths and to boost reading comprehension and math skills.

 

Kids Journey was reestablished summer of 2022 to continue offering parents "peace of mind" and students a safe and nurturing place for a fun filled summer.
 

 

Our Mission

Kids Journey summer program is dedicated to developing youths through quality activities that provide education, motivation, and intervention. Kids Journey's mission is to reduce summer learning loss to underserved communities with proven results. We partner with educators and community-based organizations to transform the academic achievements of our kids in math, reading, and social and emotional learning.
